Rugersrob 38
adding this is a field day to all the keyboard hunters but its got to be said.. whats all the hype about barryvox and bellman there both the same one might locate 1000th of a second faster.. so what its best to give a dog time in case it moves.. also i read a thread on diggin to the left of a dog not straight to it ive never dug straight to a dog they move either 6inch this way or that, when you break through quarry do move either back or forward. there both good bits of kit but i think people forget the dogs the most important thing not the box buying the best wont make you the best terrierman. me im bellman but would happily use an old knocking box.. my 2p's worth over but hey what do i know.. timmy k 594
whilst on the subject of locaters i was searching for a cheaper alternative and found the pieps free ride, its a hell of a lot cheaper and smaller, its only got 1 antenna were as the bellman and barry have got 3 so id presume the extra 2 antenna find a bit quicker which i can understand for an avalance victim (which is there original purpus) but why such a rush to get the dog out, surely a few minutes isnt going to do any harm, so has anyone seen the free ride in action is basically what im asking Quote Link to post
