Shooting At Different Times

Recommended Posts

For most of the summer months I used to pop out after work or have a mooch during the evening, this was quite a regular occurrence and I swore blind that my enemies new I was coming. This morning was the first time out early for a long time and I found the quarry acted in a completely different way than usual, hanging around rather than making a run for it.Do you think they get wise to regular mooches and do any of you try to stagger or rotate your shooting trips? :hmm:

hi yes they defo get wise. especially if you are regular.

i try and vary the times i go sometimes in the morning sometimes in the evening or night as stated its the same as them getting lamp shy! there are defo not that daft. once they have seen there mates getting nailed at 6 to 8 am every second morning for example they just bale out as soon as the see someone around that time.

i would go a few mornings, then rest, then afternoons, rest, another morning, then nights! keeps them on there toes!

on a similar theme. one permission i have has a very popular foot path thats used alot by dog walkers. if you stck to the path you can pass by the bunnys without them even looking up! cross the fence (3 yards closer) and walk the inside of the field and there off full bolt. its like they know people on the path will pss by without causing them any problem inside the field they know there in trouble.
