chris5 1
me and my brother went to our grandparents today and took the rifles "just in case" any pigeons dropped by. They have a massive hawthorne tree covered in berries and we saw a few in it so we waited where we could see it easily (we had forgotten our camo which probably explains why we saw nothing ) we decided to go for a walk onto the farms across the road (without rifles as we dont have permission there ) saw about 50 pigeons in the fields ready for the local shotgunners to get. when we got back there was one pigeon in the hawthorne tree so we decided to go for it. we "snuck" up to it but somehow it saw us *insert much swearing*. were about to give in when we saw another in the pine trees about 30 yards away. my brother went for it and down it went not even a flap he was dead chuffed its now in our fridge ready for dinner but we wernt very good at butchering any tips would be good for next time chris (pics will follow i remembered my camera, remembered to take a pic, forgot to bring it home ) Quote Link to post
