I tried a few times to find some good border x lakeys! they seem to have died out round here, a mate of mine had a bitch called sprout' we had some good times with her but she died about 3 years old, she had one pup called sally who is about 10+ years now but is barron so he never carried her line on! shame because she is an out standind little thing full of heart and had a good brain.. interested in some more on this thread

Willie G from Cumbria, bred some good Border/Lakies back in early 80s. there were some good ones from the Braes of Derwent at the same time .lavrock

My two lads mum was a border x lakey and she was (RIP TESS )a good wee thing bit of a nutter and would tackle anything head on. she ended up in some messes there dad is a parson there mum died in the line of duty. she was keeper bred and owned. A good x from what ive seen.

Lovely looking dog that, hope he does well for ya, I had a real promising young border lakie about 10 yes ago, she was into everything and on the verge of working foxes then my uncles australian sheep dog killed her one night!!! I was bloody gutted and nearly shot the damn thing?!!

RIP nip
