Mastiff 7
Start off with a large target pinned to a suitable back stop at a range you are comfortable with. Look here if you don't have any targets : http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/952-shooting-targets/ If you are new to shooting start quite close (15 Mtrs or so) and either rest the rifle on something solid or lie prone. Take a few shots and see where they are landing, adjust scope a few clicks at a time up / down and or left / right and repeat. As you get more accurate choose smaller targets. Take your time, don't get frustrated and above all enjoy! 1 Quote Link to post

stubby 175
take off the scope, count the ammount of clicks on each turret, and put both back to the middle by clicking half that amount, you may need a little shim in the rear mount, where the tube sits, just to elivate it a smidgen, I use an old photo negative when setting up, on do one at a time, start with the vertical, once thats hitting correctly, then do the other, don't try adjusting both at same time Quote Link to post
brothergrim 1
I was adjusting Both at the same time trying to Bring it down diagonally, think I'll do what you said start from the middle and start afresh! Cheers Quote Link to post

bewsher500 3
if you are zeroing it is important to match your zero style to your shooting style. if you get it zeroed on a concrete match bench, make sure it is still shooting where you expect when you try it prone, standing, kneeling or whatever you would normally shoot. especially true with a spring air rifle Quote Link to post
