What does bedlington add to the whippet

Never owned a beddie/whippet lurcher, but always fancied one and they seem to always be quite popular, but not as popular as the whippet seems to be at the moment. I would be interested to know comments by people who have seen or worked both and which they think is better at daytime rabbiting the...whippet.....1/2 beddie whippet or 3/4 whippet 1/4 bed. Cheers.

the 3/4 whippet 1/4 beddy little bit more speed imo but the beddy adds a better nose, feet ,coat

But off topic, I've seen some good Bedlington/Greyhound mixes run Quarry really well..

Magwitch has a 3/4 whippet x 1/4 beddie you can't beat it for prey - drive and guts.

I suppose the beddie gives nose and coat.
