mine are about 30 inches (although some are shorter as i have snapped the end off ) and about as thick as your little finger (i have big hands ) so the net is set about 2 and a bit feet off the ground when you allow for a couple of inches in the earth

ginge, i used to do aluminium poles, but dont any more. not much demand for them......

 

if its fibreglass pegs your after,

 

either magnum at about £4 a pole

James B at £3.50

or brinded he does 2' 6" poles at £1.75 each

I prefer hazel poles, i did run around for ages trying to get fibreglass or aluminium ones, i think i asked on here as well. i got some to trial but ended up using hazel again lol, i get mine about 1/2 inch diameter and between 22 and about 25 inches long, thats just what seems to work best for me
