Powdered milk

Yep you guessed it Scotthunter, never by milk anyway, bought some milk sachets for guests but most of em would prefer a beer! & I drink my coffee black.

 

Well, so far its smelling nice! lol plenty of mixed spice and cinammon, cant find nutmeg. :(

Easy Rice Pudding

¼ teaspoon salt

2 cups water

¼ cup uncooked rice

¼ cup raisins

¾ cup nonfat dry milk

¼ cup sugar

1 cup water

¾ teaspoon vanilla

Cinnamon or nutmeg, if desired

Add salt to water, bring to a boil, and stir rice into boiling water. Bring back to boiling

point and lower heat until the water is just bubbling. Add raisins, cover tightly and cook

slowly for 20 minutes. Combine dry milk and sugar, stir into water until mixed. Stir into rice,

add vanilla. Simmer 10 minutes or until flavors are blended. Chill. Serve sprinkled lightly

with cinnamon or nutmeg, if desired. Makes six servings, approximately ½ cup each.

Mine is gonna make 1 serving! lol well might save a bit. 3 packets of boil in the bag rice have gone into it :D

You can't f**k round with rice pudding Waz, you need proper pudding rice, sugar, a knob of butter, proper milk & it needs to be cooked for a long time in the oven on a low heat! :D

Now the winter nights are nearing, think I need to get myself a bird or maybe an electric blanket :hmm: But the electric blanket aint gonna knock up a rice pudding :whistling:

 

True, but then there's always a chance something else is going to get knocked up if you spend all winter banging away on some random bird.. That'll cost you a whole lot more than a leccy blanket.. :yes::icon_redface::laugh:

you cant beat using evaporated milk, to make a realy creamy rice-pud.........

I bought some of that once, i opened the tin and there was f**k all in it.... :laugh:
