Can anyone help I want to convert a 97k .177 to .22, is this possible?

Hi, mate, not seen you on here for a while!!

 

I think the barrels on the under lever HW's screw into the cylinder. They do sell replacement barrels, I changed my 90 to .20 a couple of years back. Give Hull Cartridge Co. a shout, they'll be able to tell you if it's a replacement part or not.

I don't know if it's any help but Sandwell Field Sports can certainly offer advise or do it, I read another guy doing similar with their help on his blog (Hubert Hubert) although I think that was with an HW80.

Wont that be underpowered if you do that,i know if you do it the other way around it can take your gun over the legal limmit.

Yes I will have to retune it, i fitted a v-mach tuning kit a while back and i've got a few washers left over its at 11.6 at the momemt.
