i have to jills and have been told i was stupid to get them as they will (i got them coz the are less likely to lay up) can i breed from them once will that solve the problem of the build up of the hormone or do i have to breed her annually ????

you need to take her out of heat every time. you can do this with a Jill jab from your vet or by useing a hob who has had a vasectomy . or just get her spayed like i did mine

I've had mine spayed, because repeated jill jabs get too expensive [ although spaying is fairly pricey, at least it's a one off cost ]

Read up on it mate you have a good few choices and then pick the best one that suits you .

as above and your certainly not stupid by using jills,i only work jills.Keep a hob for shifting jills if they lie up.

isnt that effort to get a hob to mate every season and how much roughly to get them spayed ???

Mega bucks to get them sprayed and its a big operation for a jill ,and if there good grafters you cant breed from them .Far better option would be to get a hob snipped and use him on your jills .work out the cost of the vasc times the years you use him works out at pennies
