my mate told me to day that he was up at [Kelly's lake in county down]this morning and 2 poles started to fish beside him they set up 9 rods between them they ware boat rods beach rods and spinning rods.my mate ask them what do they do with the pike that they get and they said that they take them home.my mate left the lake and called the water bailiffs so after 3 or 4 hours the bailiffs called him back asking for directions to the lake he told them .so he is still waiting on them phoning him back.so hope they got the fcukers.PS i will let you no if i here anything.

Its not just the fish there taking, i was fishing the town stretch of the river exe earlier in the year and got yapping to a bloke who has started some sort of 'river watch' because over half the swans on this stretch had disappeared, no prizes for guessing who's had em. it was something like 40 swans that had gone missing:icon_eek: .

theres signs in English and Polish along the entire length of the canal about taking fish!!!!

Phone the EA the number is on your licence.

keep a look ot for line taped to stumps,trees etc there do that in my area with lines out if you find them pull them in and snap them off.

there take more fish than gets stocked into our rivers...SCUM!!!

my mate used to own mand m fisherys in south cave and they were poles setting up long lines in his pond and taking the carp. f*****g scum the lot of them

a lot of fisheries ask you to kill the jacks and just leave evrything over 10lb, when this has been the case i have done so. pike make really good eating! for the record, swann tastes really muddy, like carp! must be why they like them!

jacks sometimes get culled on matc lakes etc but not rivers..

It used to be the cormarants that was Fuc*ing the fishing up round here now it's the poles.

 

Eventually the government allowed us to cull a certain number of Cormorants under licence, perhaps they will do the same with the Poles?
