NEHunter 14
Hello all, just got my self a couple kits which hopefully will be ready for a bit of sport in the back end of the winter. I have been looking through this site and this may sound a stupid question to a regular ferreter, but what is the difference mk1, mk2 and mk3 locators? And can anybody recommend a good website to get them off? Wishing all dog men, ferreters and gunmen a happy season. Thanks, NEHunter Quote Link to post

Aaron_butcher 17
Get the MK3 mate. I dont think they repair or do spare parts for the MK1 anymore. I've heard the MK2 is shit. You will never go far wrong with the MK3 (once you learn how to use it ) Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964
MK1's are getting old, Deben who make them wont do a service on them anymore, the MK2's are utter crap, do not buy one at any cost, not unless your going metal detecting, MK3m is the future, an expensive piece of kit, but so is anything else that does the job properly, but it will pay you back in hassle free ferreting, and put more rabbits on the surface Quote Link to post
