I have been told of a new yip want to know what every one thinks of it? if i make up a buisness card and take them around local farms advertising my expertise in best controll free of charge this can be a good way of getting new land? for pidgeons! crow! foxes ect

I tried it before and to be honest it's just better asking the farmers face to face during a chat .

The best way is just to ask then straight up. Get a quicker responce face to face than via a card

yeah agree with everyone. i tried cards and letters, no matter how nice and polite, nothing better than face to face. i work on farm, i know how busy they are, barely have time to read things like that, let alone reply, best just asking, be polite, smart and know what your talking about. and if they say no, then stay polite, dont get arsey, farmers talk!!

Very true, picked up an extra 15 odd thousand acres today by doing just such a thing.......happy days!!

Yep mate they would sooner see who is behinbd the letter, they are more willing to let you on if they see your sensible and have manners. Take any references from existing farms so they can see it, thats always cute, afterall they are letting you free on their land with a shooter, you could be a nutter as far as they are aware.
