kevin from bristol 95 Posted September 5, 2010 Report Share Posted September 5, 2010 H,wonder if you can help me ,i have a 4 yr old bitch thats been working most of her life so far very good all rounder but lately she has started to pee alot after she been working and drinking uncontrollably she has never been a big drinker so this is out of the norm and she pees alot for a few days after, then i seems to go away i took her out thursday and she doing it again only shes still doing in now thats a very long time for her to do it ,gonna take her to vets but has anyone had this before i thought she may be bruising her self internally when shes running she allways puts 110% into every run Quote Link to post Share on other sites

bristol tim 135 Posted September 6, 2010 Report Share Posted September 6, 2010 too much protein, i had a greyhound 15 years ago when i was a member of the cotswold coursing club, every time he took a piss he screamed, the kidneys had a infection, and i think it was called miopephey, spelling might be wrong, basic diet, no salt and less protein and bed rest, he was never the dog he was after he got over it.
