Yet again the police seem go for an easy target to bump up their crime figures.. Do they not realise that this type of thing is exactly why the public have lost respect for them? Years ago it only used to be the criminals who hated the police for obvious reasons, now it seems even a good sized portion of the general public dislike them.. The cuts to the police budgets all over the country won't help in cases like this from now on either They'll be under pressure to maintain their current targets but with less money/manpower..
