shepp 2,285
I see this car crash scam is becoming more common down here in London now after being around for a few years up north. It is said to put £44 anually on everybodys insurance. I was just listening to the radio and a guy phoned it to say that someone at work wanted him to pretend to be in a car he was going to force someone to crash into. He was going to give the guy £500 and keep the rest for the guy saying he had whiplash, appartently he was going to fill the car up with men to make the most of the payout. They are said to target old people and women on there own because they are less likely to contest the crime commited on them. Has anybody had an experience with it? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11044315
