andyfr1968 772
Hi, folks. I'd recently put an add in the for sale section on here that I'm having to sell some kit.... One of the things listed was a bottle that I thought was 12litre but as it's turned out, it's a 7litre. When I first got it I was new to PCP's and the lad I got it from told me it was a 12. I'm sure it was a genuine mistake on his part and I never checked it myself. Anyway, Farmboy99 took delivery of it today, informed me of my feck-up and has been a totaly understanding gent about my mistake. Top bloke! Thanks, Tom. Cheers. Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
Nice to know other people are having a bad day too! I think there's something going around right now, Tris. The amount of bad luck I and some of my friends have has this last couple of weeks is untrue... Quote Link to post
jackinbox99 41
At least both parties seem to be understanding and have good communications going. Thats good to see! Very often people can be really funny about things like this. On the bright side, you should be able to claim from DHL for new gauge / bottle etc! So problem solved! Quote Link to post

Yeah, I felt really embarrassed when Tom told me but he was cool when I explianed the mess-up. Really cool bloke to deal with. Turns out they've not only damaged the guage, they've totally wrecked it includeing the filling adapter. From what Tom's said it sounds like it's been dropped from a height straight onto it. Ham fisted feck-wits!! A claim will be going through, too right! Quote Link to post
