Guest Frank
I am suplementing my whippets diet with raw rabbits and chickhen carcasses, venison ect. I freeze the rabbits for 2 weeks, so as to stop worms ect. She also gets red mills tracker complete, half this and half rabbits & chikhen. The tracker food is 20% protain and is ment to be used with meat. I have fed rabbits, hares ect in tha past to lurchers, but found because i did not freeze them, they surferd from worms. What you reckon to my way of feeding now folks? Ill get my crash helmet on now, just in case. :11: Frank. Quote Link to post

Guest Frank
Thanks so far folks. So 4 weeks is better then 2, ok cheers. I think she will be better off with this deit, then feeding just complete food. I want the best for her, as in the past, (back in the early 90's) i had 4 lurchers, variouse crosses and would put in a half a carcass of deer, throw them whole rabbits ect, but, had to keep worming them Want to do it right this time round, although, they seemed to thrive back then. Guest JDF
same as yourself Frank,he's stopped eating the dried food though much prefering the meat so i'll do away with the dried food altogether. Quote Link to post
