billy badger 0
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any farm worker/assistant jobs within nottinghamshire. I know the pay isn't all that good but its something i've always been interesting in doing. I'm 19 and enjoy labour intensive work (I hate just sitting around) I'm also not affraid of getting stuck in and getting my hands dirty unlike alot of people my age. I dont have previous experience but I've been around alot of farms through working my dogs and shooting etc. If anyone knows of anywhere please pm me thanks.

MuttleMcTuttle 21
Try posting on the Farmer's Weekly, What's New in Farming, and similar sites. If you're really interested in farm work as a career why not apply to your nearest agricultural college? Most farmers are looking for experienced workers, and there are a lot of students looking for holiday work at the moment. Try and get as much experience as you can, maybe at the farms where you hunt? Good luck in your search.
