bodygrippers

Recommended Posts

No that body grip probably wont catch a rabbit. They work best when set in rough grass runs, bramble thickets, under and through fences. All with wire covers over the traps of course.

Rabbits are very very wary when imerging from there sets or warrens and would shy away from a body grip set like that. For the ultimate place to have good kills with body grips you want rabbit proof fences with little tight runs going through it,deadly.

These rabbits, and an unlucky hare where taken in grass tunnel type runs.

You shouldn't assume  & maybe ask before judging.

Perhaps you should tell that to the many newcomers and guests that may look at these type posts and think that is the proper way to go about things

I think that an important point has been made here, however we got around to it.

There are novices coming on here all the time who will take what they see at face value. It is important that we don't assume that everyone will know the right way to do things and, where we can, that we give clear advice on legal requirements and best practice.

And if you spot something that's been overlooked - please add to the thread constructively ! We got enough people taking pops at us from outside.

Well said john b ;)

i have caught rabbits coming out of there burrows but it has always been when there has been cover round the hole also if there is a bit of bramble across the hole set the body grip under it i have caught them this way but like the great man says there are excellent on fences and the and the 110s on rat runs with a mesh cover on are deadly
