irishnut 297
i've been looking for a blade sharpener for a while for carrying in the field. at home i use the 3 whet stones, but they are too big to carry. i was using a ceramic/diamond combi stone, but its slow. then i got a bladetech, its nasty kit, eats the blade away fast

We have one at home that would fit in a pocket.

waidmann 105
i find the knife will not usally dull very quickly and can be "put back up" with a good steel. i have a few different ones depending on use of the blade( rough, crome and a ereo sharpener). laminate steel knives tend to blunt quite quickly( soft steel in the middle) and often need the stone quicker. what kind of blade is it you are using?
