thinking of breeding my jack russel bitch with a bedlington has anybody ever had this cross before

but what are you trying to acheive if you can find a good working bedlington and put it over a good russel bitch then you could get a real good bushing dog but if your after an earth dog forget it

must admit does seem a bit pointless, more like breeding a type in mind? unless youre a bedlington enthusiast trying to revive the breed i would stay wel clear, never seen one work though but then again any serious diggin lads wouldnt give 1 a chance

take no notice make a good bushing dog . if parents are of proven working stock below ground then why not.if they arnt then dont bother.

i have a dog in my kennels his dam was half x bedlington fell and his sire was a russel .

very hard dog on a fox to ground ,would even work sore if asked to.
