Beetle Identification

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Had a call from a customer today asking me to ID some beetles that they'd found in their house. They didn't want me to visit them, but emailed through some pictures. They're not the most clear ever, but all I have. The customer says that they are about 10mm in length.

I'd appreciate the help if anybody can offer it!

Cheers.

they could be SUMMER CHAFER,but not 100% with those pics

Thanks watchman. I though that it was a chafer immediately on seeing the pictures, but I thought that they were perhaps a little small.

they usually around 20mm but as i say not 100% but the right time of year to see them, lot more people on here far more qualified to give you the answer than me pal
