blacktabs 3
A great cross PP there was a line of these dogs about mid to late seventies and the lads that bred them produced a strain that bred true to type something ive seen little of with lurcher lines in general. The bitches were excellent lamp dogs 22-24 to the shoulder the dogs always ended up 25-27 and were match quality the strains gone now and the lads that had them atb with this litter mate. I believe a couple of lads in my area years ago had some out of this strain sandy couloured dogs and one had white flecks in its coat outstanding allround dogs by any bodys standards Quote Link to post

wirral countryman 2,110
I'm just off to get my 3/4collie /grey lined by a saluki cross this afternoon, she's 5yrs old and done very well so here goes, this will be the first litter of lurcher's I've bred in my life (52yrs).I've bred lots of terrier's down the years, but never lurcher's,there was always an abundance of good dogs about that were being bred at realistic prices, these dogs had always been well tried and tested by honest lads that got out there and done it,most are gone now or packed in due to the ban, anti's,etc and so thats why I have decided to breed the dog I want and not settle for some-one else to breed my next dog,PP I hope your litter does well for you as this cross imho is one of the best I have kept ,and is more than capable in the right hands, good luck with the pups, atb, wirralman Quote Link to post
