natter79 17
flea's are flea's and need a host to survive, if you dog's been recently treated it should be ok just keep it out of the way of other dog's if they've not been treated and if it's not kennelled try and keep it in one area of your home for a few day's and clean clean clean because they WILL transfere onto people to move around the property. hope this helps. atb natter Quote Link to post

wuyang 513
Years ago i found my whippet sniffing a dead hedgehog, i looked at my dog and there were literally hundreds of fleas on him, it was disgusting and made me freak out, couldn't believe so many fleas could come off a hedgehog. Took him home and gave him a bath, most of the fleas go to the neck of the dog and can be removed with a comb. Never had it happen since. Bit of a freak event i think. Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
I've never had a problem with rabbit fleas on my dogs, only ticks from rabbits, but Hedgehogs are a plague to dogs Quote Link to post

waidmann 105
i think the stuff from frontline has changed and is not so effective? i use the pipettes from tescos (3x pipettes for big dogs for around eight quid) i would give one to the dog and the other two on your fella, don't rub their necks untill dry waidmann Quote Link to post
