When are these gamefair promoters going to realise that people are now keeping away from these events . Silly gate prices , to walk around a glorified car boot , extortionate food prices , and as for lurcher and terrier owners , we have to pay in , then pay again to show or race your dog , and this is part of the show for non dog owners to watch !!! .Then , certain show organisers refuse to even have a docked terrier near the ring , which seems to me to say , working dogs , do we really want them ? Ive nothing against people wanting to show their dogs but lets give the small hunt shows our money , not some promoter to buy his next Range Rover .

i suppose the way i could get around this is to ask for a donation into the ground and to each class.how does that sound?

either way,the aim is to make money for 'Help for Heroes'.

You could raise money for help for heroes by running a raffle on the day. Have kids going round asking people to buy the tickets, maybe dressed in soldier outfits (with adult chaperone of course). Only a right miserable shite would not put their hand in their pocket and pull out a few quid for such a good cause, especially when a wee kid is rattling the tin. Good luck with your show.

i have already been told to do this but already i have struggled to get sponsors for the show.at least the rossettes and trophies are paid for.to do a raffle i must put on prizes and something worth winning if you no what i mean  . i intend to go do some more begging as you dont get if you dont ask but you will be shocked how many will turn their noses up although the charity im doing it for.i know things are tight for the nations people in general but to those i have confronted,im pretty much discusted. ;)
