Ive heard there is a book called Underatanding The Saluki, or in the mind of the saluki.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

There's "Saluki" by Ann Chamberlane, and "The Complete Saluki" by Ken Allen.

ille have alook been many yearss ince i read it but its handy somewere ,picture of a sandy coulored saluk shit book realy and yet to se agood saluki book done by hunters for hunters .

I've never found them anything but easy, they are as natural minded as you will find in any dog so pack struture is massively important to them.

 

I've always used very similar methods as Cesar Milan uses with the salukis and found they are so in tune with this way of thinking.

 

I am from a Gundog background but I completly threw away that mindset from getting a feeling for my first Salukis ways.

Not meaning to sound big headed in saying that but is just how I find them.

 

Getting back to books The Saluqi; Coursing Hound Of The East, Edited by Gail Goodman but with section written by many Salukis Enthusiasts from around the world many gathering their experiences in the Middle East.
