mattydski 560
The most accurate load I get with 100gr soft point to date was 44gr N160 But it will vary rifle to rifle Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
n160 is a good powder for the total weight range of the .243 win. you won't get the velocity of the varget in the 58g v-max though.... ATB. Snap. Quote Link to post

To find the right powder and bullet combination that will shoot well in your rifle in just one week is a bit of a tall order As already said both N160 and H414 are both good powders for the 243, but to shoot the heavier heads you will have to ensure that you have a 1 : 9 twist at least Quote Link to post
jackg 7
The most accurate load I get with 100gr soft point to date was 44gr N160 But it will vary rifle to rifle I use Vit160, but I 44gr for Vmax 87gr for 3100FPS so for 100gr is a hot load IMO. Quote Link to post
