jasper65 6 Posted March 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 25, 2010 Here's another that wondered within Range earlier today near the aviaries! the Pellet dropped slightly on this one but he was still struck in the back of the neck and died Instant . also a close up of the two shot yesterday showing the Pellets entry and exit, no suffering! they met their maker pretty sharpish ..... jasper65 6 Posted March 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 25, 2010 You won't beleive this ST I Just logged out of the hunting life about 40 mins ago, looked out of the window and there sat a Pigeon in a tree in the pit, opened the front door and pop!! dropped him just under the wing! he was also knecked for good measure.... jasper65 6 Posted March 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 25, 2010 A few more points Jasper, just to keep up the suspense Nice one stealthy . the thing is this one wasn't intentional so to speak! just a case of wrong place at the wrong time. when the Comp started I had just virtually picked the gun up! like a pratt I didn't stick Dates in the pictures when I shot a good few squirrels and Pigeons! without a date on the pic's they fall out of the rules which is fair enough and my fault ..... Jasper wow! your doing well, are all the woodys around your area city pigeons? very well done. Rumor has it you'll be giving away a brand new MTC Mamba for first price Davy .... Dogfight off the other forum came round the other week to pick a Gun up, I must admit he;s a top bloke and I enjoyed his company! he was only going to stay for a short visist but when we got talking he ended up here for a few hours, also gave the wife some good advice on the Veg plot she wants to set up.... Phantom That will be a cracking read Phantom , I was surprsed the other day when I cut up one of the defrosted Rabbits shot a while back with Bisley Mags, it was struck virtually behind the front legs through the ribs! I was surprised to find a small exit wound near the other side of its shoulder.... One thing I can say about the Bis Mags is they certainly carry some energy over some distances compared to the ligher pellets.... ATB Jasper Quote Link to post
