dave1372 83
Went down to the new permission again tonight and put out some liver that had been sitting in my car for a week (still sealed I may add!). It didn't take long before we spotted Charlie coming across the field ready for a free meal. As soon as it got to the bait we nailed it. It was a hefty dog fox, we dragged it back to the car and went back to sit tight to see if anything else would appear....and it did this time a healthy looking vixen that was still pregnant! We did go for a mooch about and ashamed to say it missed another one ! Not bad a bad start though. Quote Link to post

dave1372 83
good shooting mate, did you take them through the N.V? Yes mate we use NV pretty much all the time. Quite often we use the lamp to spot them and then switch it off as soon as we see them and use the NV. Last night we knew the foxes would come to the bait so we didn't need the lamp.
