hob under weight

my 10 month old hob is really under weight i seperated him from my 5 jills 4 weeks ago and now he's lost loads of weight.he eats like a horse = rabbit,pigeon,eggs and ferret complete it still doesn't work.my last hob lost all his body weight in 2 days and died he had a tar like liquid coming out of his back end.has anyone else come across it

I sometimes find hobs loose condition when there in season due to them trying to get at the jills & the almost continual pacing .... if he is otherwise eating drinkking & generally acting normal i wouldnt worry ... but if he isnt like his normal self i would pop him to the vets

Make sure your hob has access to enough fresh water

Id be more worried if he wasn't eating during the breeding season some hobs can lose a bit of wieght but yours is eating so he should be fine
