To all the mathmaticians out there,if you put a full bull over a bitch that is 5/8greyhound 3/8bull, am I right in thinking that the pups would technically be 5/8bull 3/8greyhound?

That maths is pretty close but according to what ive read elsewhwere on here the breeding could throw a mix

The way i worked it out in maths terms was the full bull being 8/8 bull and the current bitch being 3/8 bull so i added the both numerators(top half of the fraction) together to make 11/16 bull and 5/16 greyhound.

yeah your correct but the poster was almost correct as it would be 5.5/8 bull 2.5/8 greyhound but close enough but with any crossing its not as mathmatical they could throw either way in the make up but in principle it is 11/16 bull 5/16 greyhound
