beddy whippet and working cocker

Recommended Posts

Hi All, never thought I would be putting this add up but due to the wife and our baby both develpoing allergies to the dogs, I have no choice but to rehome them. We have tried all sorts of remedies but I think its time to face facts, get real and do the right thing.

The dogs are a 1/8beddy/7/8whippet, 15 months old and about 20tt. Broken coated, blue and white. He is an absolute stunning dog. The other is a 7 month old working cocker, black with a tiny white blaze on his chest and as you can imagine he is full of beans. Both dogs are are in the best of condition, great with kids and other dogs. They are used to a lot of space as we are surrounded by feilds and I really dont think they would be happy kept and walked in a subberban area. They are great on the lead but spend most of the time of it mooching the feilds.

Now im no great huntter and if im honnest I have not done more than basic comands but it has suited us on our walks. The spanial is also trained to recal on the whistle but thats it. I had brought the spanial as a bushing dog to flush to the lurcher but I geuss he is young enough to train for anything work related.

Both dogs are chipped and the spanial has pappers. I would like it if they went together but it is not essential. The spanial is fond of company and would be best suited to be with another dog but the lurcher is quite happy to be the only dog but they are used to being in doors. Not sure how they would be in a kennel.

Im asking for £150 for the lurcher and £250 for the spanial. I live near Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland.

Please no time wasters or chavs, Im not letting these dogs go unless im convinsed your going to do right by them. I have put a lot of love and effection into these dogs and would hope that who ever has them will continue to do so.

Im posting this from work as my broad band at home is not up and running for a few more days due to change of supplier, so i wont be able to relpy until tommorrow. I think i have some photos of the lurcher up on an older post and will put pics of the spanial up in next few days.

Thanks for reading.
