poacher3161 1,766 Posted February 20, 2010 Report Share Posted February 20, 2010 IMHO most of it comes down to natrual born running ability some dogs are born with this it and it can be seen in pups in their first runs on quarry were as some lurcher types only gain good running ability due to a lot of exspierience running game and some times it takes them up to two years for it to click i have noticed this more in dogs with a large percent of greyhound in them and more lurcher to lurcher types seem to have the natrual born running ability.atvb dell Quote Link to post

Went lamping with a freind a few years a go.his dog was loads bigger than mine.I coulden't believe my eyes.His dog picked up seventeen rabbits On the night'and made it look simple. Quote Link to post
