oakey 57 Posted February 15, 2010 Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 On a resent beaters day 2 magpies were in the days bag at the end of the day so i said to the keeper i would take them home for my ferrets he looked at me gobsmacked and told me i shuldnt be feeding ferrets on corvids but i have been for 40 years . Fed them on a varied diet of rabbits,Crows,Pidgeons,Squirrels , jays ive shot or trapped when i was keepering. During the summer we would catch about ten or more magpies and crows day in larson traps. Quote Link to post
