Irish Lurcher 1,013
I was out with my young bitch last night,8 months. We had a older lurcher with us who works the lamp like a treat. I am wondering if there is any other form of training that will bring on my pup to the lamp, I get her to retreive a lure in the back garden on the lamp, but last night her head was everywhere apart from when the lamp was shining. Bandit 0
Dear IL Try 18 months, when she is mature mentally and phsically. Concentrate on her obedience and scent work at the age she is now. It doesn't hurt to take her Lamping with another dog now, but only watching. Bandit Quote Link to post

Rabbithunter 456
at the age it is at now, i see no harm in taking it out to WATCH the other dog's. as long as the other dogs are working how you would want your pup to ie; retrieving well Quote Link to post
