what made you choose these breeds to cross? ie what were you aiming to create etc. Genuine question.

Wel im no mind reader but my guess would be guard dogs lol

well if i was a bit dim i would say guard dog too :tongue2:

To be more blunt, was there any intention in the crosses or was it just what was available? Because that doesn't really strike me as a recipe for a good guard dog, just a mix of random dogs with a reputation thrown together to make a few quid. But i didn't want to be so rude...but too late.

an old mongrel, for £150 id say,id f*****g give them away

A MONGREL BRED FOR A JOB JUST LIKE LURCHERS MATE

With a lurcher you can say why you have added each breed. Greyhound speed, collie for stamina, feet etc etc. So using the same 'recipe' why have you chosen to cross an ABD with a rotty, then mix large mastiff type with an english bull terrier...then blend them together? Did you own all 4 of the parents dogs? How were they bred? What traits did each individual possess and PROVE that you hope will be improved by combining them all?

the cross was intended, the fella that bred them lived in ireland at the time, and one or two attempts too steal his running dogs were made, both parent were there and both do a good job of keeping out undesirables, that is why, if i needed ayard dog id have one of these, take it as you will, ive seen them in action, and i have nothing to gain by putting up this post.meet the parents in the dark and if you survive tell me what you think then.
