Urban Fox Control London 8
Hello All, Been using this great site for about a week now and I am already a 'Rookie Hunter'. I run my own Pest Control business covering North & East London. Most of my time is taken up with trapping and dispatching urban foxes in schools, colleges, private and commercial properties. Before working for myself, I worked for Rentokil and before that I was in the Army for 5 years. (23 Pioneer Regt RLC). I use a .22lr S&W pistol or a .22lr 10/22 Ruger. That is enough in built-up areas as the maximum distance I would shoot a fox out of a trap would be no further than 25 yards away with a confirmed back stop. This method of control would only be used as a last resort treatment if the target foxes are trap shy, usually caused by having been trapped before by other pest control companies and released illegally. Most of the foxes I dispatch are covered in mange, fleas and ticks. definately not Christmas Card material. I always inform the local Police Control Room of my activities in order to avoid any stick moments with SO19 !!! I look forward to adding anything I feel may be useful....... or asking something I don't know !!!! Edited January 15, 2010 by Urban Fox Control London
