dodger 2,678
Just wondering when people feed there dogs prior to a days-nights running. I usually give it about 12 hours say i was off out at 6am i would feed them about 8pm the night before. I do it that way to make sure the dog has converted the food into fuel. Do people agree with this or do some like to give a bit extra a few hours before? Quote Link to post

mistwalker 0
Wee bit complete food in the morning and full feed at night on non-hunting days. If I'm going ferreting a large feed the night before and something light in the morning (couple of slices of toast etc.) If I'm going lamping, just give them a arger feed when we get back, but I usually give a few glucose type (sorry, no free advertising Mr Lucozade ) sweets before going out and on return to the car.
