Overfeeding/Underfeeding

Was talking to a mate today and he was saying he only feeds his dog 3mugs of dry food once a day, this made me rather concerend as am feeding my dog 3mugs of dry food twice a day so am I overfeeding him? How much do yous feed? Cheers lads atb Darren :drink:

Well if there getting porky drop it a little & if there dropping weight then up the amount , i find it easy to maintain the dogs body weight here as there not worked , but i would imagine a dog worked hard a few times a week needs more food , so i would just monitor the dogs & act accordingly

from the age of 9 weeks my dogs have dry food there all the time and i find they only eat when they want to

they have never eaten it all ever i do not evern see them eat but they are fit as hell

Hiya but, everyone feeds their dogs differently, some people feed their dogs so many times a day, but i always have food down for my 2x dogs, and they pick at it when their hungry, my personal experience when feedin at certain times is that the dog gets greedy an eats it all in one go, id rather keep the food down at all times an let them eat it as they want!! all the best Rhian

i do that to miss rhianl find they more fit and not get fat
