picking up new air-rifle tomorrow

I am swapping in a rifle i am not happy with tomorrow at the shop i got it from so i will have £500 budget. I need something light, short and silent as possible. Good for shooting from a car and being inconspicuous :whistle: I was thinking either the Lighthunter-8W or the slightly bigger and multi-shot Lighthunter-12W Only issue i have with these small rifles are shot capacity, .22 only gives 25-30 shots in the 8w...

 

 

 

Are these good choices? can anyone think of anything better? Cheers for any feedback i will make a new thread tomorrow with what i get if all goes well and then i will be out lamping

You want a air-arms s410k super light and short excellent gun. 60 to 70 shots from a charge.

i wouldnt worry about the number of shots 25 rabbits would be a real pain to carry, youd have to go back to the car before you shot many more, just refill the rifle then,

 

you can buy a 1 litre 300bar bottle to refill the rifle, its small and tuck into your pocket..

you want one of these below you will need a new tin of pellets befor you refill this

 

not very inconspicuous though are they. think it would be a pain to carry 25 rabbits without being noticed tbh. my s400 with a silencer is deadly quiet but ive got the classic and id too long imo. thort of the s200???

dandyman i agree rapids are amazing. My first rifle was a rapid mk1 and one of the first made lol. I sold it not long ago.

 

Anyway i picked up my new gun, i checked out the s200 and bsa and a few others but i went for my original idea in the end Its a crakcing little gun and i have heard good things. However i can't fill the f****r so i am off shooting later so i have 25-30 shots which to be honest is more than i will need. I am really happy with it and it will be perfect for shooting from a car. I will get some shooting done with it though before i talk it up too much.

I will hopefulyl be shooting in a wooded area so nice and sheltered and dark, i think its a full moon i forget to check when not hunting for a while.

gunpower stealth, nothing wrong with it but it had a custom bottle that just didn't suit me at all i couldn't mount the scope comfortably. Hes a mate at the shop he said i could try it and bring it back i am a good customer lol.
