best lamp used with deban lithium battery

Recommended Posts

hi guys im looking for a new lamp, i got the deban lithium ion 12v battery and was wondering whats the best lamp to use with it,

any advice will be appriciated..

thanks

I have the same setup mate, I think you will find the lance has a 75w bulb as standard(mine did anyway) I fitted a 100w bulb to my lance and it was spot on for rabbits at upto 200yds. However i bought the lightforce striker as i wanted a lamp with a little more distance for the bigger fields and i find it a little better than the lance.

I'm not one of those that has the lamp on all the time, as soon as i enter the field i have a quick scan of the field with the red filter on and pick the rabbit i am going to run. Using this method i've yet to run the lithium down completely and i've been out for over 3 hours with it...

I got strongstuff to make me a belt for the battery pack so i can wear the battery on the outside of my jacket and as always from strongstuff the belts spot on :clapper:

So i'd recommend the lightforce striker, just make sure you sort the wiring out when you get it mate. If you pm me your number i'll talk you through how to sort it...

cheers

Careful there, I know a lad who scorched his lances reflector using a 100W bulb.

I've been using the lamp for over a year without any problems mate,Having said that though it's never on more than 20 seconds or so at a time as the dogs usually caught by then.
