Downunder_Sthn_Ferreter 16
Went out Friday for a few hours with the Dogs & Ferrets. Found a monster sized bury on a steep hillside, being one up, i found i could net up one half & work that before moving to the next half. The Girls waiting for the bolt. They've located a bunny thats got a ferret firmly attached to its rear end. We'll hold it until you stop taking pics ok Dad Didn't have to walk to far today as i had phoned the land owner the night before, makes it real easy Moved on to a few smaller burys that produced some more. Thought i heard something ? Yep i told you !! Shortly after this pic was taken a rabbit had slipped through an unseen exit in a bush clump. Coco hightailed it and i last saw them both go into some long grass. A minute later out pops Coco with the rabbit firmly between her jaws. She just walked up real casual and gently placed it near my feet. Camera wasn't close to me when this happened. Was a gold moment for her as its her first kill & retrieve on a good sized Bunny. Mornings Bag. Back up there in the morning...can't wait Cheers, Shaun Quote Link to post
