Neal 1,929
The first two dogs I can remember when I was growing up were a smooth fox terrier and a fox terrier x sheltie. If I remember correctly, both were fairly game and lived to a ripe old age but hated each other on site so spent their whole lives apart. Edited December 15, 2009 by Neal Quote Link to post
stevemac 448
I had smooth foxterriers for about 12yrs the first one which was also the last one as well and her oldest daughter were the best ones and would hunt rat to feral pig had a good nose and plenty of hunt. the funny thing was we bought anne as a show dog for my eldest son when he was about 8 she wasn't much good at the shows wasn't fancy enough, but she was great in the bush. We had alot of fun with them but as every one else has said they were mad for a fight and weren't on the losing end to often. I havent had a terrier since but I keep toying with the idea.
