CO CHISE 355 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Share Posted November 28, 2009 had a call early today of a pal saying his terrier bitch while out bushing had gone missing after bolting something from cover, she went missing around half one this aftie around the holton moor/ swillington/ rothwell area , this bitch is a bushing dog only and a family pet, my pal is gutted along with his kids and ive only this minute got in from looking for her with him with no luck and he has ask me to put it on here so hopefully someone local to these area mite come across her, she is a patterdale bitch at around 15" and is fairly strong looking but is only a bushing dog and wont go to ground, if you come across this bitch pm me and a faver will be returned, thanks, Quote Link to post

russellmania 0 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Share Posted November 28, 2009 hi sorry to hear about the bitch ,are there any deer in the area as even a munt jack will take a terrier a long way from where she was last seen ! also your friend says that no earths are present what about drains? i know he said she never goes to ground and is very loyal she just might have this time , failing that how close is the main road ? or public footpaths ,someone may have picked her up thinking she was lost ,i once lost a russell dog for four days i found him dead half a mile away on the A1 ,but he was an earth dog /bushing dog , i found deer tracks and terrier tracks following .i wish you all the luck in the world in finding her ,lets hope shes safe yours in sport Eddie Quote Link to post

THANKS LADS BUT STILL NO SIGN OF HER, BEEN LOOKING ALL MORN BUT NOTHING, MY PAL HAS REPORTED HER TO LAW AND HAS PHONED THE KENNELS UP AND ALSO VISITED THE LOCAL FARMS, HE STARTING TO THINK SOMEONE HAS PICKED HER UP AS YOU DO GET QUITE AFEW WALKERS ABOUT THE AREA, ANY INFO LADS TO THE AREA NAMED PLEASE GET INTOUCH, ATB Quote Link to post
