Whippet x Chinese Crested

Recommended Posts

I have noticed a lot of not the norm crosses lately for example Poodle x Grey but what i have just seen beats them all.Somebody on Epupz is advertising Laguna Whippet X Chinese Crested for £225 each. Why someone would breed a beautiful dog like a Whippet with what i personally think is the ugliest breed on the planet is beyond me. Its gotta be £££

 That's the way I always looked at it. If you had an accidental litter they used to be all free to good homes, you could never sell them.

people will and do pay stupid prices like this for a LAP dog and they think it must be worth the price or it wouldn't be so expensive, i meen look at the italian greyhound on its own without any ugly soft dog put into it, why does it deserve to be so pricey, its rediculous and unfair that people who know nothing about dogs are happy to hand this much money over just because they want a good un and they think its £450 its got to be a good dog, and the assholes who are breeding these dogs make it sound like a bargain :wallbash: :wallbash: its all about money and nothing else

I noticed most were cross breeds to and the Staff x are as bad as the Whippet cross. The price of these cross breeds now is rediculous! My Mrs wanted a Cockapoo and when i looked at the £750 price tag i couldnt beleive it.Needless to say she didnt get one so i got her a 3/4 Wheaten 1/4 Bull pup off here and she thinks she is the Bees Knees.I may of forgot to mention that this time next year she will be hunting for fun!

Funny you should say that we wanted another dog to go with the beddy whippet we have and she who must be obeyed was wanting a lab springer cross or something nice and fluffy but what did we end up with? Ooops a whippet collie cross and not a hint of fluff in sight :whistling: !

No huff in sight for me either. All she seen was a ball of fluff and a wagging tail. She starting to take shape now she is about 13weeks and Mrs keeps asking how big she will be and i just keep telling her not much more now and she not even size of a Border yet and by the time she is about a year she will be around 18tts i guess ill have some explaining to do then!

And what are these dogs going to turn out like? Not just health problems but also temperament. I knew a Chinese Crested once and it was a very vicious dog. Even after it had it's knacks chopped off it was still very dominant.

Had to be PTS in the end. May have been down to bad owner but even so.

Must agree though a pointless animal and some people have more money that sense.
