fireman 11,473
Lads and lasses it ain't illigal to do so here in england ,you need to learn the law.You can use a 100 hounds to search for a scent if you want but when the quarry is found you can only use 2 to flush it to a gun,if the quarry is a fox and it's marked to ground by the pack then you CAN use a terrier to again flush it or if it doesn't flush then you can legaly dig it if it's for the protection of game birds and we all know that every game bird reared or WILD needs protecting .A point of law here is that the only stress that quarry can feel from hounds is when it KNOWS it's being hunted, thats why up until then you can use any amount of dogs or hounds to find a scent line.Proving the whole pack had chased the fox to ground is impossible to prove without video evidence showing deliberate hunting has taken place.Learn the law folks as it ain't as bad as some of you think .
