If not then try the postman, I think he's called Pat and he knows were Bob lives

done the 1st course, yes i took my time, all looks well, all level in everyway, , going to do the 2nd course in the morning, off to borrow :whistling: my mesh now and metal bars tonight, post some pictures tommorow, so you can all have a good laugh, and take the piss, ,

nearly finished my kennels this weekend just need to add a few finishing touches like paint and doors on runs etc,oh and widen the middle pen kennel door. blockwork was easy enough did quite a lot of it my self with some help from family,a pic of mine to give u an idea.(pic was before rest of mesh and blocks were painted) atb with your kennels.

like to see people having a go at things themselves, but being a brickie myself for 22 years now find pictures like that quite painfull lol, washing up liquid is ok if you are mixing 3 to 1 with a shovel, make sure the joints of the course above are in the centre of the block on the course below try not to have any cut smaller than a half, take your time making sure the first course is straight and plumb and dont go up too many courses on your first attempt,

them kennels are very good, dont think i will be posting any pictures of mine now you have up the standard, am limted for space so strugling, but hey ho i will carry on and see what i can do, , if all else fails blame the girlfriend, wish me luck :clapper: , ,

I bet you've had some poor plasterer cursing you at some point over the last 22 years with pissed brickwork mate, in fact I think we've spoken about this very subject on here before! :laugh::thumbs:

 

I know what you mean about seeing peoples 'have a go' efforts though, I've seen it so many times with the plastering. You go into a self build where someone's had a go at plastering a small wall, and they show you it all full of pride and ask you what you think. It's not nice to have to tell them it looks like someone's tried to spread runny cow shit on the wall, and ask them if they want you to go over it otherwise it'll spoil the room! :laugh:
