pencoed hunter 7 Posted November 8, 2009 Report Share Posted November 8, 2009 Went ferreting yesterday with my friend took two kits (Second time they been out) and an old hob. Got to the first set and they were in there for about 20 mins then the first rabbit bolted straight into a well set net set by Brogan on here Then picked up the nets after the ferrets came out and headed home didn't want to stay there and take the hole lot so now I can go back there next week. 1 or 2 rabbits is enough for me Here's a pic Quote Link to post

whin 463 Posted November 8, 2009 Report Share Posted November 8, 2009 a good way to get a ferret back if you have no collar is gut arabbit at hole and blow the smell down there not long in smelling it and make sure there not to hungry if no collar on them , i worked them for a decade or more without a locator still do somedays but not in to deep warrens , good ferrets kil and move on after a while ,were is pecoed south wales Quote Link to post

Its in Bridgend not many rabbits here at all that's another reason why I don't take many because I'm afraid there wont be any left to breed for next year lol that's the first rabbit iv caught here in about 5 weeks now Quote Link to post
