donk 12
I have my doubts about any party ever lifting the ban,and even if the tories did lift it,i reckon it would only be changed to suit the hooray henrys. I mean, why would they lift it so that the likes of us would be able to roam the land in pursuit of game? They spend half their time chucking us off it
RicW 67
When the tory party get in power are they going to lift the ban on fox hunting or are they going to include hare coursing aswell? Looks like they will lift the ban on riding to hounds fox hunts. So Lord ya-de-da will be allowed out there with Lady Muck. The lads with the lurchers and terriers are just working class idjits so who gives a f**k? Ric

Wanna be farmer 0
We're only working class, but i've been on a foxhunt before. Only on a quad, but they're not all snobs.
DIDO.1 22,855
The conservatives will be trying to lift the ban on all organised fieldsports including terrier work and courseing. I have my doubts about any party ever lifting the ban,and even if the tories did lift it,i reckon it would only be changed to suit the hooray henrys. I mean, why would they lift it so that the likes of us would be able to roam the land in pursuit of game? They spend half their time chucking us off it Poaching was banned before and will continue to be banned after the conservatives get in again. But just as lagitamate badger diggers were unfortunatly and unreturnably linked to badger baiting nob heads so courseing is becomeing linked to poaching and yobs. This is the biggest threat to organised courseing returning to the UK.
donk 12
I would have thought that organised coursing events would be more high profile than poaching?? And lets face it,no matter what you do,the higher your profile the more you are taken notice of,the more you are taken notice of the more someone wants to restrict what you do.
